Outsourcing has come of age. A lot has been said about trends, ways of working, quality, cultural issues, time zones and of course the money it saves for the business. But did you get it right? Did you evolve with outsourcing as your business evolved? Are you still buying bodies or services? While selling bodies has been the easiest way for vendors, customers often receive the best resource amongst the cheapest available. In a war of being billable in the vendor world, customers are often left with little options when they opt for bodies. They get resources who are 'available' (technically not billable) and can be sold at same rates with minimum cost to vendors. It's all about profitability, isn't it?
